  1. Maria Vincelli Says:

    1. Allows you to view 2 Notebook pages at the same time. You can do things such as move images/text/movies from one side of the screen to the other. You can also pin down one or both pages.

    2. what you write on the Smart Board will disappear after about 10 seconds
if you draw a circle, it becomes a spotlight that you can size and move around
if you draw a square, it becomes a magnifying glass that you size and move around

    3. You can save your notes on the ink aware toolbar, you can take screen captures, navigate from page to page in Powerpoint, and many other programs. You can turn the ink aware option on and off in the Control Panel.

    4. The ink layer is similar to a transparency or piece of glass that lays overtop of your application. When you press on the board, the pocket between the board and the ink layer registers what you put on it.

    5. Orienting the Smart Board ensures that the greatest accuracy is obtained between what is being transmitted from your computer to your Smart Board screen. It ensures that the Board picks up where your finger/pointer is.
