Tip on how to use math equations in Notebook Software

Hello everyone,

I’m so excited to let you all know about the abilities of using math equations in SMART Notebook Software. Notebook Software’s Math Tools is a great user-friendly tool, but what if you don’t have it? No problem, you can still easily insert equations into Notebook Software! All you have to do is create the equation in Microsoft Word using the Equation Editor(or other equation writing programs), copy it, and then paste it into Notebook Software. The equation will become an object that can be moved around and resized just as any other object. The equation can’t be edited or graphed (this is where Math Tools comes in handy) but it is great to supplement notes or questions for SMART Response assessments.

If you already have Notebook Math Tools and want to import equations from other programs you can use the same procedure but the equation IS EDITABLE once it is in Notebooks Software.

Happy Learning and Good luck,
Mrs. Blossom
