Removing Permanent Marker

OH my goodness, someone used a permanent marker on the SMART Board.  You’re angry and worried.  Will it be there forever?   Now you have a mission.  Find a really smelly, dry erase marker.  (Don’t be sniffing it in front of the kids!)  Rub the dry erase marker over the permanent pen mark.  Then use a soft cloth to erase them both.   Next?   Throw out any permanent markers in your class!
