Animating Still Life

The students in kindergarten had a ball this week.  The teacher showed them the crayons in SMART Notebook.  (Click on the pens, then the pen tool and choose the crayon tool.) They drew their still life pictures and then the teacher animated them.   In this case, she grouped each flower so it was one object and chose, ‘animate object’ in the properties tab.

What amazed me was that when the flower was flipping around the axis, you could actually see the thickness of the flower.

We can use this activity to learn the difference between flip and spin (turn).

Happy Learning!
