Last time, I wrote about recording keeping for bird watching. Once we have seen the birds, let’s expand on our knowledge about birds. Search for the word ‘bird’ in the gallery. You will find the cardinal among others. Discuss the parts of a bird, the wings, the beak, the feet and the body. Learn to label the parts of the bird. Find a picture of a bird from your area. Label the parts. Move the words away from the lines so that the students can move them into the correct positions.
